This will be our second cruise to beautiful Greenland, offering you an exclusive WPA small group expedition with just 10 adventurers (one zodiac) led by a professional WPA photo guide. Suitable for both novice and advanced photographers, as well as non-photographic partners, this will be a once-in-a-lifetime adventure with our experienced host company, Quark Expeditions. Guided by renowned adventure photographer Darran Leal, we will embark on a captivating journey to the western wilderness of Greenland. Our exciting adventure begins with a flight from Reykjavik, Iceland, followed by the cruise, after which we will return to Reykjavik. We also offer a linked Iceland adventure! During our cruise, we will explore the coast, navigating through calm waters while discovering majestic fjords and enchanting islands. This 13-day expedition showcases the finest highlights of Greenland’s west coast wilderness. Glide past immense glaciers and enjoy regular landings, all in the comfort of a state-of-the-art ship where every amenity awaits you. PRE CRUISE - Reykjavik Iceland

September 3

We recommend that you arrive in Reykjavik by today at the latest. (Additional accommodation can be booked if you wish to arrive earlier.) Services begin today with accommodation only. Please make your way to your included accommodation. We will meet at the reception at 5 PM, where Darran will provide some valuable photographic tips, give an overview of the cruise, and offer you the opportunity to ask any questions. No meals are included today.

DAY 1 of Quark itinerary| Reykjavik Iceland

September 4

The standard Quark itinerary starts today and does not include any scheduled activities. However, our group will be active! We will depart at 7 AM for an exclusive tour designed to warm up your photography skills and for Darran to begin offering tips. We will visit remarkable sites in the Golden Circle, including Gullfoss waterfall, Strokkur geyser, Þingvellir National Park, and Kerid Crater. (Please note that some locations may vary depending on conditions.)

A group dinner and accommodation are included tonight. (D)
