This photo adventure is led by renowned nature and adventure photographer Darran Leal with his wife Julia. His knowledge and experience will enhance your journey, providing valuable insights and guidance to help you capture stunning images. Is it all about bears? No, but the bear adventures are legendary with past participants. You can expect the stunning wilderness scenes of Alaska, plus unique bear encounters including cubs, salmon catching, bear interaction and beautiful nature from forest to bald eagles. The glacier and blue ice experiences are world class! Every day is different and every day, Darran and our local expert guides will work hard to offer you the very best of Alaska. DAY 1 - Wrangell

Kick off your Alaskan adventure in the vibrant village of Wrangell. Take a stroll through this quaint community nestled by the sea, as you prepare to embark on an unforgettable journey. Today at 3pm, join us for a welcoming reception and an enriching workshop by your tour leader Darran. This is followed by a delightful group dinner - a BBQ local style! (D)

DAY 2 - Alaskan Bears & Wilderness

Rise and shine early to set out for Anan Creek, where your rendezvous with the legendary Alaskan bears begins. Immerse yourself in the natural beauty of this breathtaking locale, capturing stunning shots from the hide and viewing platforms. The nature at this location is very unique! Cruise back to Wrangell on our private boat, keeping an eye out for more photographic opportunities. It’s a day filled with bears, landscapes, eagles, and endless wonders. DAY 3 - Alaskan Whales & Wilderness

Today, set your sights on the mesmerising marine life of Alaska. Armed with your cameras, we explore the intricate network of forested islands, seeking out whales, seals, and otters in their natural habitats.
