His knowledge and experience will enhance your journey, providing valuable insights and guidance to help you capture stunning images. Is it all about bears? No, but the bear adventures are legendary with past participants. You can expect the stunning wilderness scenes of Alaska, plus unique bear encounters including cubs, salmon catching, bear interaction and beautiful nature from forest to bald eagles. The glacier and blue ice experiences are world class! Every day is different and every day, Darran and our local expert guides will work hard to offer you the very best of Alaska. DAY 1 - Wrangell

July 6

Kick off your Alaskan adventure in the vibrant village of Wrangell. Take a stroll through this charming community nestled by the sea as you prepare to embark on an unforgettable journey. At 3 PM today, join us for a welcoming reception followed by an enriching workshop led by your tour leader, Darran. This will be followed by a delightful group dinner featuring a local-style BBQ! DAY 2 - Alaskan Bears & Wilderness

July 7

Rise and shine early to set out for Anan Creek, where your rendezvous with the legendary Alaskan bears begins. Immerse yourself in the natural beauty of this breathtaking locale as you capture stunning shots from the hides and viewing platforms. The nature at this location is truly unique! Afterward, cruise back to Wrangell on our private boat, keeping an eye out for more photographic opportunities along the way. It’s a day filled with bears, landscapes, eagles, and endless wonders. Unwind in your accommodation after a day of adventure. (L)

DAY 3 - Alaskan Whales & Wilderness

July 8

Today, set your sights on the mesmerizing marine life of Alaska. Armed with your cameras, we will explore the intricate network of forested islands, seeking out whales, seals, and otters in their natural habitats. Delight in the serenity of the calm waterways as you search for these magnificent creatures. We may have the opportunity to photograph whales bubble-net feeding, a rare natural experience! You might even spot orcas, and the otters are certainly too cute to resist! It’s a magical day as you capture the essence of Alaska’s marine wonders. (L)
