DAY 1 - Arrive in St Helens, Tasmania - October 20

Welcome to your photo adventure! We will kick off at 1 PM today with a workshop at The Panorama Hotel, a fantastic accommodation and workshop base where most of your meals are included starting with dinner tonight. The afternoon shooting begins from the large hotel deck, as well as several nearby beaches and dunes. The locations and subjects are virtually limitless! Enjoy an afternoon session in the late light to apply some of your newly acquired skills. A group dinner is included. (D)

DAY 2 - Bay of Fires - October 21

Rise early to capture the breathtaking sunrise at a nearby beach in the Bay of Fires. You’ll be challenged by light, patterns, and the natural environment. Afterward, we will return for a late breakfast. A workshop focused on processing and workflow will help expand your visualization skills, followed by lunch. In the afternoon, we will venture to Columba Falls to explore the challenge of using slow shutter speeds. A short 15-minute track leads to the base of one of Tasmania’s highest waterfalls, standing at 90 meters. The walk follows a high-quality trail through cool, shady rainforest. (B,L,D)

DAY 3 - Bay of Fires to Freycinet National Park - October 22

We depart early for a day of exploration south to Coles Bay. This iconic location features stunning beaches, wildflowers, birds, and inspiring creative opportunities. Your four tutors will be available to assist with visualization, concepts, and any questions you may have. We will return to our accommodation in St Helens for the evening. (B,D)
