We are offering you one of the greatest photographic adventures in Australia! Plus, we are joined by one of the most important photo educators in the world today – Julieanne Kost. This will be our 18th Ultimate Creative Workshop.
BIOGRAPHY – About Julieanne Kost
Named one of Fast Company’s “100 Most Creative People in Business,” Julieanne Kost is a Principal Evangelist at Adobe Systems, responsible for fostering relationships with customers through meaningful and inspirational Photoshop and Lightroom instruction. As a highly sought-after speaker for the industry-standard Digital Imaging franchise, she devises and presents motivating and educational training sessions, sharing original techniques and tutorials worldwide — via live events, Adobe.com, her own website (jkost.com) and blog. She is also the author of “Window Seat: The Art of Digital Photography and Creative Thinking,” and “Passenger Seat: Creating a Photographic Project from Conception through Execution in Adobe Photoshop Lightroom”, an accomplished photographer and fine artist, and creator and host of the popular Photoshop CC Essential Training and the Art of Photoshop Compositing for Lynda.com.
Julieanne is well-known for her unique approach to instruction, infusing practical tips and tricks with an equal amount of humor and creativity that keeps audiences entertained and engaged. She often serves as a guest lecturer at distinguished photography workshops, industry events, and leading educational institutions around the world. She’s a contributing columnist and author for a variety of print and online publications and has created over 500 instructional videos as the host of Adobe’s “The Complete Picture” featuring Lightroom and Photoshop, serves as producer and instructor of the “Lightroom Getting Started” and “What’s New in Lightroom,” training courses, as well as the “Revitalize your Workflow with Lightroom” seminar on CreativeLive.
Julianne holds an AA in Fine Art Photography and a BS in Psychology.

We can say that this is a special photo holiday that is guaranteed to help all photographers from novice to advanced. Interested to improve your creative skills? Your professional photo guides are world leaders and love to help!
We will specially target unique field techniques and outstanding processing and theory in the comfort of our accommodation with private facilities and a touch of Kimberley. Subjects include spectacular birds, frogs, forest scenes, grand landscapes and unique creative patterns and shapes. Options are also available for helicopter flights.

DAY 1 – TOUR STARTS IN KUNUNARRA
May 15
We include accommodation tonight in Kununuurra and our first group dinner. We meet at 5pm at reception for details about your holiday and the chance to ask questions.

DAY 2 – KUNUNURRA TO EMMA GORGE
May 16
We start early in the morning, how exciting! We drive west and into the true wild’s of
the Kimberley. We setup base for the next two nights in famous El Questro Station. This is a top base to explore the rugged north. Massive red cliffs, oasis with cool streams and ancient rivers are the normal here. We include boab shoots during the day, to astro photo shoots at night. The nature and landscapes of the region are unique and special.

DAY 3 – EMMA GORGE
May 17
Full day at El Questro. From waterfalls to an afternoon boat trip. This region offers great diversity and a true outback experience. We also look at a night shoot for stars and boab trees – a highlight on past visits. Today includes your first workshop with Julieanne. Julieanne will help all levels of photography and interest with fantastic example images.

DAY 4 – EMMA GORGE TO HOME VALLEY STATION
May 18
We depart early and cross the Penticost River and continue on the Gibb River to Home Valley Station. Home Valley Station is an outback adventure playground with some of nature’s most breathtaking combinations of towering gorges, sparkling waterfalls, billabongs, and ancient landforms and ranges.
We will hike through picturesque walking trails, options are available to take to the sky on a helicopter ride and at the end of the day, we shoot sunset on the rugged cliffs.

DAYs 5&6 – HOME VALLEY STATION
May 19&20
We start early and finish late with a nice break in the middle of the day to catch up on downloading and checking out your new images. We also add in some working cattle property shoots for authentic Kimberley images. The late afternoon shoots are often outstanding. Another Julieanne Kost workshop is also included. DAY 7 – HOME VALLEY TO PURNULULU (Bungle Bungle)
May 21
We depart after breakfast and drive to an incredible landscape location for what Darran thinks to be in the top handful in the world – Purnululu National Park.
