Join Darran Pearce & Frazer Leal for
a fantastic landscape, nature and creative adventure.
WHAT’S THIS ADVENTURE ABOUT?
Kangaroo Island is one of the most photogenic locations on earth! This is our 9th event to the island. We base ourselves at Kangaroo Island Wilderness Retreat for most of your holiday. This is the perfect location to target – The Remarkable Rocks – lighthouses – sealions – beaches and fantastic wildlife. Darran lived on the island and has taken several groups to the island since 1982. His intimate knowledge of the best times and hot shooting locations will help to optimise your photo opportunities. All camera brands and photography levels are welcome. Darran is joined by Son’s Pearce and Sony Digital Imaging Advocate Frazer Leal.
We are based at the 3 Star location of Kangaroo Island Wilderness Retreat for your comfort and the best shoot options. Meals are included as per itinerary. (Most meals except lunch.) Lunch has options which will be offered in the final itinerary.
We include transport, via vehicle pooling. We include 4WD hire vehicles. This has been very successful at our events for many years. You do not need to drive as we always have great volunteers. This system helps you to save money and offers the chance to travel with other photographers. Importantly, it offers flexible shoot times. Note that the shared vehicle cost and your return transfer for the ferry is included as a group. Julia will liaise with the group to organise share transport. (Please Note: your participation is based on your agreement that no driver can be found responsible for any injury, damage or death during this event. No driver is being paid for this event, it is based on a volunteer share system. World Photo Adventures will book vehicles as a travel agent only.)
We include 5 nights accommodation at quality 3 Star lodge – world class photo tuition, plus all meals as per itinerary. We limit the group size to 4/5 photographers per tutor. This will offer you personalised assistance in the field! You just need to get yourself to and from Adelaide. Julia is happy to help you with the best options.
Nothing delights the lens like striking contrasts of landscapes and nature, and Kangaroo Island serves these up in abundance — vibrant and wild landscapes, captivating wildlife and fantastic creative shoots.
