COVID & OVERSEAS’S TRAVEL

Realistically, WPA will not be offering oversea’s adventures until the federal government allows travel and that Covid is clearly under control and that vaccinations are a success. Your health and safety comes first! However, this does not mean that we can not all dream, save up and aspire to an adventure in a far off exotic land. With this in mind, WPA is now taking bookings for a select number of overseas’s adventures, initially requiring no deposit. NOTE: Should the adventure not be possible on the original dates, it will roll over to the following year. In time, as the Covid situation looks more promising, we will request deposits. These will be fully refundable up until a departure is confirmed, at which time our traditional terms and conditions will apply. Step by step, we can work together to again explore this beautiful planet together.

WHAT’S THIS ADVENTURE ABOUT?

Peru is one of the most outstanding photographic locations on earth. Our past tours to this region has offered customers a unique insight into the history and culture of the region. While we target iconic locations like Machu Picchu, this tour will also offer incredible landscape, nature and creative opportunities.

“Very early in the morning and before the first tourist groups arrive, we ascend to Machu Picchu to photograph the sacred Inca citadel in the mist and during the sunshine.  Something unforgettable! Hike along the last part of the Inca Trail and arrive to the ‘Inti Punku’ or Sun’s Gate, the main entrance to the sanctuary, where the walkers and processions arriving from Cuzco and other parts of the Empire along the Inca Trail have the first sight of Machu Picchu. Along the way, you will see several species of orchids and wildflowers.”

These are just a few of the photo adventures offered on this unique holiday.

WE INCLUDE…

A fantastic land package! All your accommodation, meals and services as per itinerary. You simply need to organise flights and to get yourself to the start of the tour and for the departure. Julia is happy to help you.

PRE EXPEDITION

You start your photo adventures in Cusco. As Cuzco is located at around 3,400m, we suggest that you arrive as early as possible. WPA has a great track record of travellers enjoying adventures at higher altitudes.

TIP: Altitude – Most travellers are not effected, but we know from experience that you will be more active on tour, the earlier you arrive to Cusco.  A couple of days relaxing and acclimatising will help. Your guides will be arriving in Cusco at least 2 days before tour departure. Extra accommodation can be booked with Julia as requested. Accommodation starts day one of the tour, March 1.
