This is an Ultimate South America Photo Adventure!
This is our third time to the wild’s of Brazil and our first time to this new location – be one of the first! We are targeting stunning waterfalls, rainforest and diverse nature from colourful frogs to monkeys and hummingbirds. Your professional photo guide will help any experience level to shoot amazing images! This is a very diverse holiday with experiences from rainforest to the coast of the Atlantic.
A dense tropical forest runs from northeast Brazil to northern Argentina along the coastal mountains of Serra do Mar parallel to the Atlantic, being home to thousands of species of vascular plants, insects and wildlife. It is known as the Atlantic Rainforest, and after the Amazon is considered the second richest biome of South America. From the dense mountain forest of the interior up to the coastal mangroves that grow by the ocean, the Atlantic Rainforest is home for more than 14 species of primates and 970 bird species, together with dozens of tree frogs and colorful tropical butterflies.
On this unique tour, we offer the possibility of visiting three different habitats of the Atlantic rainforest along a biological corridor that links the mountain forest of PETAR (Alto Ribeira State Park), the lowland forest and the mangrove areas by the sea and a paradisiac beach. All the lodges will offer hummingbird and bird feeders in order to make the work much easier for photographers and birders. Waterfalls, caves and local fishermen at work in their colourful boats will be other attractions of this Brazilian holiday.
TWO TOURS
Tour 1 explores the Atlantic rainforest of Brazil with over 16 hummingbird species, plus waterfalls and other great nature subjects. Tour 2 is very different in that it is drier country and new species with Jaguar being a major target, plus birds and more nature. These are ultimate nature adventures!
