Fraser Island – Ultimate Creative
August 26/31, 2018
Enjoy challenges, for all levels to new creative heights…
Join the teams from WPA and Australian Photography Magazine on World Heritage listed Fraser Island – one of the most photogenic locations on earth! You can join this tour with regular flights to Hervey Bay via Sydney or Brisbane.
“Fraser offers a bit of Africa in Australia. I say this as we use 4WD’s as mobile hides and ‘get up close’ to all sorts of birds from eagles to feeding oystercatchers. We also enjoy magic sunrises on the eastern beach – amazing shoot opportunities! At times dingo’s are a special shoot and our many stops allow photographers to enjoy the challenge of shooting everything from ship wrecks to weird patterns, shapes and forms – the chance to learn ‘how to tell a story’. We are the most experienced photo tour operator on Fraser Island as we have been working with Kingfisher Bay Resort for over 15 years. After visiting the island numerous times, I can say that it is one of the world’s best locations to improve your photography and have a lot of fun. You will be challenged each day to new creative levels!” Darran Leal
Not that we offer 6/7 photographers per tutor. Further tutors will be announced closer to the event. Mike O’Connor, the editor of Australian Photography Magazine will be joined by Mark Galer. (Subject to numbers.)
We include 3 nights accommodation at Eurong Beach Resort on the eastern beach and 2 nights accommodation at the multi award winning Kingfisher Bay Resort – world class photo tuition, breakfast lunch and dinner each night, plus island transport, ferry transfers and transport to and from Hervey Bay airport. We limit 3 photographers per vehicle on the eastern beach! This offers you loads of space and a great shoot experience. Julia can book extra accommodation to suit your interests, plus assist with your other travel needs.
Immerse yourself in the heartland of uniquely captivating images. In 2018 we invite you to photograph this stunning locations through your choice of three magnificent linked events:
