On the Road – Central Australia

On the Road

Central Australia

My first visit to the ‘Red Centre’ was in 1982. I ended up living at Uluru (then Ayres Rock) for 3 months. I have since returned several times with photography groups from all over the world. Why would you want to visit such an arid location? Simply because it offers such a different feel, look and experiences to anything else you are most likely to have experienced before.

The landscapes are billions (yes billions) of years old. The nature of the region is unique, weird and beautiful all at the same time. After rain, flowers spring from the red soil is profusion. Ghost Gums are such a special experience and set in an ancient land, makes this region a special place on our planet.

I hope you enjoy some of our past expedition images and I hope you can join our next group to Central Australia.
